ELGIN, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 22, 2014-- The Middleby Corporation (NASDAQ: MIDD) today announced the acquisition of Desmon Food Service Equipment Company (Desmon). The company is based in Nusco, Italy and has annual revenues of approximately $15 million USD.

A leader in chilling and freezing technologies, Desmon products include blast chillers and refrigeration for the commercial kitchen. The company’s products are known for their advanced insulation technology and energy efficiency.
