Biography

Mr. Scherger is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Amcor, a global leader in packaging solutions for consumer and healthcare products, providing industry-leading innovation capabilities, global scale and technical expertise to help customers grow and meet the needs of millions of consumers every day. Before joining Amcor in November 2025, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Graphic Packaging Holding Company, a leading provider of sustainable fiber-based packaging solutions to the world's most widely recognized food, beverage, foodservice and other consumer products companies and brands. He joined Graphic Packaging in 2012, serving as Senior Vice President in its Consumer Packaging Division before becoming Chief Financial Officer in 2015. Prior to that, Mr. Scherger served as President, Beverage and Consumer Electronics at MeadWestvaco, where he spent more than 25 years in executive level positions that spanned North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
